I haven't posted in a while, so here it goes.

I never really kept up with this blog o0ps, but it is a new year 2012 to be accurate and i want to start it off by keeping myself super occupied, so that I may take my mind off of the fact that I'm lonely because all the people close to my heart are back home while I'm in a whole different town, working on my major that I'm not even sure can get me anywhere.
So much for taking my mind off it.

Oh yeah and did I mention I'm COMPLETELY broke, tuition is ridic' on top of that add rent, food, and other basic necessities. Of course my very wonderful parents are paying for all of this and they are working to their maximum to put me through college god bless them.

And my perfect boyfriend is helping them by paying for my cellphone bill, which is by far the nicest thing EVER! (I'm obsessed).

Anyway this is my second semester at this super expensive university, and I'm attempting to make the most of it till i graduate. One thing I can be thankful for that being away for college has taught me is how to cook, I was never really that great because at home my mother cooked and i hardly had an opportunity to practice, but now I'm on my way to becoming a famous chef! (not really).

I will probably be posting some recipes up soon, today i made a mean a$$ Tilapia dish, baked at 350degrees for 12 min seasoned with curry and some liquid sofrito, accompanied by some fresh steamed veggies. My favorite part of this meal was that it was INEXPENSIVE, the fish i got from Bj's a bag of 15 single wrapped, just popped that sucker out and baked it!
the sofrito(Latin) and curry(Jamaican) from any Publix probably in the ethnic foods area, and veggies you already know ;)
